Escape to a Black Hole Bagel

This is an exploration of baking, black holes, and death.

“When you miss someone, make a black hole bagel for them. Eat the bagel, feel the existence of black holes, feel them.”

Baked goods are more than just food. They are symbols of cultural occasions. A birthday cake represents  blessings and gifts. An everything bagel represents nihilism in the movie “Everything Everywhere All at Once”.

A bagel can mean more than that when we see it as a black hole. A black hole absorbs countless amounts of matter in its life, but itself is the end of time.

A film was made to encourage understanding the end of time through a black hole bagel making, to embrace death.

The second part of this project was done several months after the first part. It focused on the exploration of baking and binary stars. It is an educational video about the outer space.

Note: AI voice was used in film.
